Cattle Section
This years show saw an entry of 140 head of cattle. We are continually trying to improve and bring new things to the show. This year was no different. The Show Supreme Champion (which was competed by the winners of the Commercial Beef, Continental Type Beef Pure Bred Beef, Native Type Pure Bred Beef, Dairy Interbreed) was selected by a house wives panel of five female members of the audience. They were taught the basics of judging Cattle and had explained why each animal had won it's section. The Panel was unanimous in crowning Barkislands' Tracy Severn with his 5 year-old Beef Shorthorn Bull, Vukan of Upsall; Champion of the Halifax Show 2010.
